Volatile Bergamot organic

The oil is obtained by pressing the outer parts of the peel of the citrus fruit from the bergamot tree. The oil first appeared in Bergamo, a city in Italy. The oil is now also extracted in Africa and Asia. The oil is rich in limonene, linalool, and relaxing esters such as linalyl acetate, and coumarins such as bergaptene. The color ranges from light to dark green. It has an herbal citrus scent with a bite and is reminiscent of Eau de Cologne. The botanical name is Citrus aurantium var. Bergamia.

This oil is organically grown, meaning no artificial fertilizers or chemical substances were used during cultivation or during the processing after harvest.
