Their nattokinase is branded NSK-SD®, which stands for Natural Super Kinase-Spray Dried. One Vitals Nattokinase-NSK capsule contains 100 mg of NSK-SD®. This corresponds to an enzyme activity of 2000 Fibrinolytic Units (FU). 2000 FU approximates the amount of nattokinase consumed by an average person with an average serving of approximately 50 grams of natto. Nattokinase-NSK does not contain vitamin K2, which is available as a separate supplement if desired.
Producing pure nattokinase with good enzyme activity is far from easy. Several laboratory tests are required to accurately determine the quality of a nattokinase supplement. NSK-SD® passes all these tests with flying colors, unlike some other nattokinase supplements on the market.
