The Tester Lyme self-test is a CE-certified self-test that allows you to check within 10-15 minutes whether your body has produced antibodies against the Borrelia bacterium. This helps to detect a Lyme disease infection early after a tick bite.

Usage
This test is used to detect antibodies against the Borrelia bacterium in the blood, which indicate a possible Lyme infection. This is important if you have recently had a tick bite, with or without a visible rash.
Instructions for use
Preparation Open the test kit and place the test cassette on a clean, dry surface. Clean your fingertip with the alcohol wipe. Blood collection Use the lancet to obtain a drop of blood. Use the transfer pipette to apply two drops of blood to the test cassette. Test execution Add two drops of buffer solution to the same spot. Wait 10-15 minutes and read the result. Please note: Testing within 6 weeks of the tick bite is necessary, as the body only produces measurable amounts of antibodies after several weeks. Testing too early or too late can give inaccurate results.
Warnings
The test is intended for self-diagnosis, but confirmation by a doctor is recommended in case of a positive result.
In case of a positive test result or persistent complaints, medical advice is recommended.
A negative test does not completely rule out an infection, especially if the test was performed too early.
Storage advice
Store at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. Do not use after the expiry date on the packaging.
