Our usual diet often contains too much protein from meat, sausage, and cheese, but too little fruit and vegetables. As a result, rich acid-forming substances are absorbed, but base-forming components are deficient. Sometimes our stomachs have to work hard.
With Basentabs complex tablets you get a balanced combination of basic mineral compounds.
Zinc contributes to normal acid-base metabolism and to the metabolism of macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, fats).
Calcium contributes to the normal function of digestive enzymes and, together with iron and magnesium, supports energy metabolism. Proteins are made up of amino acids. The important trace element molybdenum contributes to the metabolism of sulfur-containing amino acids.
