CLA stands for conjugated linoleic acid. It's a fatty acid naturally found in meat and dairy products, particularly those from ruminants such as cattle and sheep.
Some points about CLA:
Natural sources: As mentioned, cattle and sheep are the primary sources of CLA, especially when fed grass instead of grain. Grass-fed animals typically have higher CLA levels in their meat and milk.
Supplements: Because of its proposed health benefits, CLA is also offered in supplement form. These supplements are often promoted by fitness instructors and used by athletes to achieve their goals.
1000mg of CLA is equivalent to about 250 grams of healthy grass-fed beef with a fat percentage of 10%. Eating that much red meat every day is almost impossible, and certainly not always healthy.
That's why a dietary supplement with CLA is a welcome and simple addition!
It's also worth noting that while CLA naturally occurs in foods like ruminant meat and dairy, the concentrations in safflower oil-derived supplements are often higher than what you would naturally find in foods. This is because the CLA in supplements is concentrated to deliver higher doses of the fatty acid.

Usage
Adults take 1 to 2 capsules daily with some water, preferably with a meal, unless otherwise advised by your healthcare professional or sports instructor.
