The leaves come from Japan, from regions where the climate, soil, and expertise are perfect for cultivating high-quality matcha.
Before harvesting, young leaves are chosen; only the soft, bright green part is used, while stems and veins are carefully removed.
Production process
After harvesting, the leaves are steamed to prevent oxidation, which ensures a fresh color and aroma.
Then the leaves are slowly dried and ground into a very fine powder with stone mills, for a silky smooth texture without bitterness.
