Organic Black Maca
Organic Black Maca is an organic maca powder from the Andes Mountains in Peru. Maca is a special tuber and the only edible plant that grows at extreme altitudes of approximately 3000 to 4500 meters. Due to the challenging conditions in which the plant grows, maca has been valued for centuries within traditional Peruvian diets.
Maca is also known as the 'Ginseng of the Andes' and was formerly considered a valuable food by the Incas. The root naturally has a mildly sweet, earthy taste, making it easy to add to smoothies, yogurt, shakes, or juice.
Black Maca
Maca is available in different varieties: yellow, red, and black. Black maca is the rarest variety. The powder is made from the dried root of Lepidium meyenii and fits well within an active and conscious lifestyle.
Mattisson Organic Black Maca consists of 100% organic black maca without additives. Maca is traditionally used as a nutritious ingredient within a balanced diet. In addition, black maca is especially valued by people with an active lifestyle and by athletes.
Organic and pure
Mattisson Organic Black Maca exclusively contains organic black maca root powder (Lepidium meyenii). The powder is free from artificial additives and easy to process in various dishes and drinks.
