When you buy directly from us, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your shopping experience. Step 2: Return the order yourself via USPS, FedEx or another trackable delivery method. We recommend that you insure your parcel.

The Ume apricot, whose pickling brine also produces Ume Su vinegar, is cultivated in Japan and has a strong and slightly sour taste. It undergoes lactic acid fermentation for about a month in sea salt brine, with Shiso leaves giving it a beautiful red color. In Umeboshi, the Ume is offered as a whole fruit, which can be cut into pieces; Umeboshi Paste is exactly the same product, but in the form of a paste that can be diluted.

Use
Umeboshi Paste and umeboshi are two pleasantly salted spices with a refreshing aroma that enhance the flavor of sauces, pickles, vinaigrettes, mayonnaises, cooked vegetables (such as broccoli, cauliflower...), rice, sushi, sashimi, etc. When finely chopped, the shiso leaves are delicious in sushi or mixed with sautéed vegetables.
