Dr. Brown’s was developed in 1996 by American physician Craig Brown. It is the only bottle with a patented venting system that contributes to babies' health. With Dr. Brown's, you feed your baby vacuum-free and without air bubbles. In this way, the bottle helps prevent feeding problems such as colic and spitting up, and vitamins C, A, and E are optimally preserved. The effectiveness of Dr. Brown's has been scientifically proven.
Prevents feeding problems
The unique Natural Flow venting system not only prevents air from entering the milk, but it also prevents the bottle and nipple from collapsing. Thanks to the combination of vacuum-free feeding and positive pressure, Dr. Brown's helps prevent colic, spitting up, and burping. It also reduces fluid buildup in the ears, which helps prevent earaches and ear infections.
Optimal vitamin retention
Dr. Brown's helps retain important nutrients best. This has been shown by independent research at the University of Nevada. Other baby bottles lose vitamins during feeding. Our venting system ensures that vitamins C, A, and E and lipids do not oxidize ('disappear') during bottle feeding. This applies to both breast milk and formula.
Comparable to breastfeeding
