A display test is performed. All options are shown. At an ambient temperature of less than 32 °C, «-- -» and a flashing «°C» are displayed in the upper right corner. Use one of the following disinfectant liquids for disinfection, according to the manufacturer's instructions for use.\nIsopropyl alcohol 70% - maximum 24 hours submersion\n\nReplacing the battery\nWhen the symbol «▼» (upside-down triangle) appears in the display field, the battery is empty and must be replaced. To replace the battery, the battery compartment cover of the thermometer must be removed. Insert a new battery with the + side up.\nMake sure you have a battery of the same type on hand.
